大家好， 夏天真的是突然就到来了呢。 今年好像是最热的一年，7月破40度的日子好像是前所未有的多，这个月我甚至有几天早上是被蝉吵醒的。 进医院前还是梅雨，出医院的时候已经是暴热了。 空调真的是人类最伟大的发明啊。

Hello, everyone. Summer really did come out of nowhere. This year seems to be the hottest yet—there have been more days in July with temperatures exceeding 40C than ever before, and I was even woken up by cicadas a few mornings. It was still the rainy season when I was admitted to the hospital, but by the time I was discharged, it was sweltering. Air conditioner really is humanity’s greatest invention.

我如期做了胆囊切除手术， 跟不认识的大叔在双人病房里躺了三天，看无聊的世界杯新闻（是的我不喜欢足球），回家又休息了几天，感觉好多了。 但很难说到底是因为没胆了，还是因为彻底地睡够了。 总之该上班的上班，该画画的画画，一切似乎又回到了往常。 让大家操心了。

I had my gallbladder removed as scheduled. I spent three days in a shared room with a man with the same trouble, watching the boring World Cup news (yes, I don’t like soccer), then went home and rested for a few more days. I’m feeling much better now. But it’s hard to say whether it’s because I no longer have a gallbladder stone or because I finally got a few good night’s sleep. Anyway, I’m back to work, and back to drawing —everything seems to be normal now. Thanks for everyone’s concern.

This month, I have successfully completed the entire chapter for Takemi Tae, added the story pages (in both Chinese and English), and then moved on to Kawakami-sensei’s chapter. As a result, there are quite a few ZIP files available for download, feel free to download what you need.

简单说说我对川上贞代的故事的设想： 本来我想画她被逼到走投无路选择自行了断的故事，后来想想前面已经画过佐仓双叶的自行了断了。 那按原作的推想，她还能被逼到什么地步呢？自然是只有去卖了。 于是她接了一个特别的活，参加了一个有钱人的“女仆派对”——所有的女性都穿着女仆制服，在会场任由男性宾客摆布。 在这里她还偶遇了御船千早——另一位从事卑微行业的P5女角。 同样是被生活所迫，同样是因为贫穷和疲劳，川上和御船身不由己，接受了出卖肉体的命运，却不知道还有更糟糕的命运在等着她们……

Here’s a brief overview of my concept for Kawakami’s story: At first, I wanted to depict a story where she was driven to the brink and chose to end it all, but then I realized I’d already illustrated Futaba's suicide earlier. So, based on her background, just how far could she be pushed? Naturally, the only option left was to sell her body. So she took on a special job: attending wealthy men’s “maid party”—where all the women wore maid uniforms and were at the mercy of the male guests. There, she also ran into Chihaya Mifune—the female fortune teller who couldn't afford a decent life in Tokyo. Driven by the same hardships of life, and equally burdened by poverty and exhaustion, Kawakami and Mifune had no choice but to accept a fate, unaware where this would lead them…

额，想到这里的时候我脑海中其实第一个跳出来的场面是大逃杀， 设置一笔奖金，让女仆们互相残杀，留到最后一人的时候才能拿钱。 不过要是真的画成这样，我不知道要画多长的时间，而且按照我一贯比较务实的风格，我很难想象这两人能杀得有多血腥，最多砍砍手，切切肚子，割个喉吧？ 我是有另一个想法的，先卖个关子不说。 眼下我还没有画后面的草图，正式的内容还请8月届时关注。

Honestly, when I first thought about this, the first scene that actually popped into my head was a battle royale: set up a huge cash prize and have the maids kill each other, with the money going to the last one standing. But if I were to actually draw it like that, I have no idea how long it would take. Plus, given my usual pragmatic style, I can’t imagine these two girls getting all that gory—at most, they’d cut the thigh and breasts, slice open a stomach, or slit a throat, right? I do have another idea, but I’ll keep you in suspense for now. I haven’t sketched out the rest yet, so please stay tuned for the content in August.
