Reincarnated as a Mimic! 2 Story Plan (Pixiv Fanbox)

The story plan for the sequel.

Story Plan:

Life has been good working at the Inn since reincarnating as a Mimic. He acts as the Inn girl during the day, joking with customers and pretends to be a caring daughter around her father. When he’s hungry, he takes a “day off” and finds a meal as the catgirl or elf. He’s expanded his “collection” with various now missing adventurers but recently he’s been looking for monster girls; like a lamia girl he recently came across (scene of him as a lamia in the forest). His level has increased significantly to 149.

Walking through town whilst reviewing his level and inventory as Elf. He spots a drunk adventurer stumbling into an alleyway. Tempted by an easy meal, he follows them and eats them however he’s caught. A guild receptionist noticed him entering the alleyway and followed him, witnessing it. In a panic, he eats her too, again becoming bloodthirsty and needing a full cure. Realising he was getting overconfident and sloppy, he decides to be more careful in future. Now in the guild girl’s form, he checks it out and collects her clothes.

Whilst dressing himself in her uniform, he realises the blessing in his mistake. She works at the adventurers guild and has the perfect job for finding new prey. Though concerned about the Inn girl going missing, he notices a new skill he’s unlocked at level 150 (now having reached 151), Mimic cloning. Using the skill, he creates a mini version of himself that takes the form of the Inn girl. It responds to him like a soldier and follows his orders to impersonate the girl and report back to him.

Having covered his tracks, he decides to take the guild girl’s place so he can use her position to his advantage. Using his impersonation and memory reading skills, he replaces her at her job behind the desk at the local adventurers guild. He spends days taking requests and giving adventurers jobs as a kind receptionist whilst sizing up potential prey. He enjoyed her body in private and uses her form to casually grope other female guild employees during work hours.

Having performed her job for some time, he’s starting to get hungry again. He formulates a plan to abuse her position and lure prey where he wants them. He wants to raise his level as much as possible by eating high level adventurers. He sends a party of cocky adventurers to a location on a fake monster slaying quest. Once they’ve left, he makes sure to destroy the evidence of sending them. He waits ahead of them at the location and ambushes them before they even know what’s happening, devouring them all and drinking a full cure as the last person he ate, a young priestess. With no witnesses and no evidence of the quest they went on, no one will ever know what happened to them and his position in the guild is safe.

A timeskip page of him repeatedly sending out adventures, attacking them, increasing his collection and raising his level up to 178, 206 and finally 244 as he does it.

One day he returns to the guild and overhears coworkers discussing the central guild sending an investigator to investigate the source of the large number of missing people reports. He returns to the desk where he comes face to face with a pretty knight that introduces herself as that very investigator, sent by the central guild at the request of the local lord. Knowing she’ll interfere with his collection, he sizes her up and escorts her to a meeting room where he eats her.

Knowing he’ll draw even more attention if he stays in the area, he decides it’s time to leave town. He creates another clone to cover the guild girl’s disappearance. Now using the Knight's appearance, he spends a couple days pretending to “investigate”. Instead only investigating her body in private and preparing a fake report. He leaves town using the knight’s form and moves his collecting elsewhere to a new hunting ground.

Future Ideas

- Goes to report back about the knight's investigation to the region’s lord, claims a large slime was responsible and says it was defeated. Spots the lord’s noble daughter and replaces her.

- Experiences noble society as the lord’s daughter. Increases his noble rank from Baron to Court’s daughter then Duke’s daughter at a party.

- Use’s duke's daughter, to meet her cousin, the princess and replaces her.

- Enjoys the princess’s life before using her position to have the country's knights collect various strong monsters to increase his level further.

- Gets discovered by knights confused where the monsters went but reveals himself as a level 999 mimic? Threatens the knights into silence because he’s not interested in eating them. Having no choice they stay silent when he tells them he doesn’t want a bothersome position so won’t take over the country.

- Some knights try to plan a revolt but his spy clones within the knights eliminate anyone that tries.

- Epilogue, he gets too into the princess’s life and ends up having children with her fiance? Mimic children.
