Danger at Every Turn (commissioned) (Pixiv Fanbox)

This piece was brought to you by Sparkster26, who requested to have JC from the comic series Danger Girl be captured and taped to a chair.

For this piece, I used some line shading techniques I haven't done in a while, to give the illustration a pseudo comic page feel. Getting the shadows to look right was challenging, especially for Sydney (the brunette) and took a lot more time and references than I planned. But as it started coming together near the end, I found myself getting really absorbed in the work. I hope I can put this style to use in other projects someday.
