鬼畫顕現　その１５「志郎丸　紹介」 (Pixiv Fanbox)

鬼畫顕現その１５は「逆鳥居の兄弟鬼」たちの四男坊、「志郎丸」を紹介します。

佐武郎丸と同様に名前が決められたのは開発後期だったため、制作時には見た目のまま「糸目」と呼称していました。

煙管から出た煙を媒介に自身の巨大な目玉を形成し、様々な絡め手で戦うキャラクターです。

目玉モチーフということで「見る、見られる」をテーマとしたキャラクターで、その設定が調伏パートにも反映されています。

初登場時イラスト。

「逆鳥居の兄弟鬼」の中で初めて相対することとなるキャラクターで、他の鬼とは違い現実世界で遭遇することとなりその力の強さに主人公たちが驚愕する……というような展開だった気がします。

今までとは別格というような雰囲気を目指して制作していました。

KIGA kengen Part 15introduces “Shirohmaru,” the Fourth son of the “Sakatorii Oni Brothers.”

Like Saburohmaru, his name wasn’t finalized until late in development, so during production he was simply referred to as “Itome” (meaning “thread-eyes”) based on his appearance.

He is a character who uses the smoke from his pipe to form his own giant eye, fighting with a variety of grappling techniques.

Given the eye motif, he is a character centered on the theme of “seeing and being seen,” and this concept is reflected in the Chobuku segment as well.

I believe he was the first character the protagonists faced in “Sakatorii's Oni Brothers”. Unlike the other oni, they encountered him in the real world, and I recall the story unfolding in a way that left the protagonists stunned by his immense power.

I created this illustration with the intention of giving him an aura that set him apart from the others.
