最近のことですが、先日Kindle Paperwhiteが壊れまして💦　えーと、「オトナの目」になると、文字を自在に大きくできる電子書籍は読書にありがたいのです。さすがに壊れてしまうと困る、と思い、6年ぶりに新しいモデルにしたのですが、むっちゃ快適！反応速度が速い！思わず、もっといっぱい本読みたい！モードになっている最近です（あー、でも本が好きで好きで好きで好きで仕方ない本大好きっ子ではない、です😅）。とりあえずKindle Paperwhiteを新しくして即日読了したのはヘンリー・ジェイムスの「ねじの回転」でした（学生の間に読んどけよ～って感じですね😅😅😅）。

By the way, something personal happened to me recently…

The other day, my Kindle Paperwhite suddenly broke 💦

To be honest, once you become an “adult reader,” being able to freely enlarge the text on an e-reader is seriously convenient!! When it broke, I realized just how much I rely on it, so I decided to upgrade to the latest model after 6 years… and WOW, it’s amazingly comfortable! The response speed is so much faster!

I suddenly found myself in full “I want to read lots of books again!” mode these days (though I have to admit, I’m not exactly some super book-obsessed kid who’s crazy about reading or anything… 😅).

Anyway, the first book I finished right after getting the new Kindle Paperwhite was Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw.

(Yeah, I know… I really should’ve read that back in school. I KNOW!! 😂😂😂)
