Progress Update 8/22/26 (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hey everyone!

From now on, I will make written progress updates separately in blog posts.

The Goblin Preview (5/20p): I just posted the preview for my next work - The Goblin. They are the first 5/20 pages, almost complete. I'm not planning on it to be a series per se, but rather just a collection of stories about "anomalies". Stories where the characters will encounter unexpected monsters/situations and meet bad (or good?) ends. The stories might reference each other. https://ooonyan.fanbox.cc/posts/12469473

Previews: From now on, I'll post the previews as near-complete pages of the stories. Maybe in color, maybe not. Then, some time after I finish the work, I may or may not bring the previews down to clean up my page a bit.

Early Access: I'm a little conflicted on whether to keep doing this from now on since I was planning on making a lot of shorter works, but now I'm really interested in making longer and longer stories. I might scrap the early access idea and just the 2nd half of stories behind fanbox for supporters. It's sort of hard to plan around. Anyway, I'll keep thinking about it.

Snuff/Guro: This is the first death I've written into a comic! Sorry if that's not everyone's cup of tea but I do want to touch on some darker topics from now on. It won't be the majority of what I do (the rest of the story is pretty standard fare for what I've written), but I'll be sprinkling it in and out from now on. Maybe I'll do some guro fan arts too, but either way I still want to approach it cautiously.

Style Notes: Finally, I did a lot of experimentation with style lately, and I think I'm pretty happy with how this one is turning out, both in terms of style and process. The main thing for me is whether I can produce the story I want to tell at a reasonable quality. So from now on, I don't think I'll really worry about coloring things inside the lines, which is very very time consuming, and be more painterly/impressionistic with the rendering.
