Slice of School v0.2 is now out! (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hello everyone,

After some delays, the new version of Slice of School is out!

Unlike TH2 which development took quite long (more than 2 months), here, it's barely been one month since the last update. As such, I can properly divide the release timing as it should be: $20 tier today, $10 next week, and $5 tier in 3 weeks.

Things took longer than planned because the art side of things wasn't going as fast as I wanted (especially the coloring) and on the side of it we encountered quite a bunch of bugs that were a real pain in the ass to correct.

There are things that might still be a bit quirky in the game because of that but we'll polish everything as the development progresses.

So, what to expect in that update?

Of course, the smut first. 129 new H pics and 6 new scenes (including 2 scenes with two different base image so there's a total of 8 new base images in that update.) One of those scene also has a complete two-roads path depending on whether scat mode is activated or not (like Reiko and Kaya's shower scene.) Karen/Giant Ant scene was also added its scat path too.

But that's not the only thing. You can now press the H key to hide the textbox as some of you requested.

The save/load menu has been customized too to fit the game's UI. The option menu as well as the gallery have been improved too for a better graphical coherence (we'll keep improving those through future updates.)

A lot of small visual improvements have been made. There were 9 characters who still had their sketched version as faceset with a single expression. They've all be finished and given proper set of expressions. Some conflicts between the charsets and facesets have been corrected too (Akiko's overall, many characters hair, some skin color...). A few H pics have also been corrected as they had problems and ALL H pics have been reexported with a different mean to prevent a problem of loss of saturation. The colors of the pics are now a bit more saturated (like they originally were.)

Some maps have also been tweaked and two new maps have been added.

ONE IMPORTANT THING: IF YOU'RE LOADING AN OLD SAVE, YOU'LL HAVE TO TRIGGER ON/OFF THE SCAT MODE IN THE OPTIONS FOR IT TO WORK PROPERLY. WE MADE A COUPLE OF CHANGES AND IT WON'T REMEMBER YOUR CHOICE IF YOUR SAVE IS FROM BEFORE THIS UPDATE.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this update even if there are elements to correct in the future. The scenes content is varied and the finale is quite messy 8D

Now that this update is done I'm going to spend some time with my family instead of locking myself up to finish it 8D

I'm still planning a small surprise for the end of this month, but on the side, Hime and I have already started working on The Hunter 2's brothel renewal. You'll start hearing news about it at the beginning of September.

That's all for now. Considering there will probably be bugs, I'll upload patches to fix them but don't expect me to reupload the game, I won't be able to until I'm back home.
