From Now On, I’m Taking This Girl Under My Wing 4 Chapter 1 A boy from Lily’s class begins to have feelings for Lily throughout the week and softly stalks her in the halls, in class, at lunch and recess. That Thursday he works up the courage to talk to her. Lily is playing with her friends. The boy asks if they can talk alone for a minute. Lily agrees. They go to one of the play equipment areas and sorta hide under it. Lily’s friends eavesdrop on the conversation. The boy announces he likes her. Lily is stunned. Lily’s friends are happy and giggling. The boy asks if she wants to be his girlfriend. Lily is flattered but she says she can’t. She says she has a boyfriend already. Lily’s friends are stunned. The boy is disappointed but Lily tries to cheer him up by calling him cool. She says they can play together tomorrow. The boy agrees. The bell rings. They leave the playground and Lily’s friends approach Lily. They all, except Andrea, question her about her boyfriend Lily says he’s older and goes to a different school.
