Amber held up a hand. “Don’t.” She tilted her head, studying her like a bug. “You missed your cue.”

Olivia’s expression didn’t change much, but there was a flicker. “My cue?”

“I was waiting,” Amber continued, tapping the table lightly with one finger, “for the part where you go, ‘Well? Did you let him watch?’” She bounces her leg impatiently. “Cause I did! Bro did a hands free orgasm. It was crazy.”

Another pause.

Olivia didn’t fill it.

“Alright,” Amber said, settling back like she’d just solved a puzzle she already knew the answer to. “Who is it?”

Olivia’s eyes flicked up, finally focusing, really focusing on her now.

Amber raised a brow.

“You got a little… cave explorer situation going on, don’t you? I know that look” she went on, gesturing beneath the table with her fork. “Who’s Kat got up your ass?”

She tilted her head the other way, a smile sharpening at the edges.

“…Christine?” Amber added, voice light but certain, “No it’s Sarah, isn’t it? Most of these have been Sarah lately.”
