I got no idea what Olivia put in that thing.

I know weed. I know what being high feels like. This isn’t that. Or, I mean, parts of it are. I’m no more anxious than usual. The room isn’t spinning. I’m not buggin'.

But I keep noticing things I normally wouldn’t... like the way my ears move when Olivia talks, or how good it feels to stretch my legs. Up till now I think I was just writing all of that off as being high. And, honestly... it doesn’t feel bad.

Then I look at Olivia. Like, really look at her.

She has a muzzle. A dog muzzle. And fur. And ears. Like all the dog parts. That's... that's not normal. Should I say something? Am I losing it? Would it be weird to ask her why she looks like a dog? Maybe I should just get up. Get something from the kitchen. Give myself a second.

I could really go for a carrot.

Like, a cold, crunchy one. I’d settle for baby carrots, but one of those big whole ones would really hit the spot right now.
