Hi, y'all!
I havent done any extra doodles this month since I've been doing/learning 3D printing stuff^^" So here's the 3D printing stuff I did instead of the monthly doodles!
First, I reworked the Petgirl V2 model a few times and got a new one that looks more Nimbletail-esque (rounder face, more shapely, etc) so That's gonna be the Petgirl V5 stl file that you can print out if you have access to a 3d printer ;)
Second, I got the Bambulab AMS (automatic Material System, I think) to go with my A1 mini printer. This means I can now print one model with multiple filaments! Which turned out to be super wasteful on the filaments so I'm not gonna be doing that a lot=w= It's still convenient that I can now switch to different filaments for different prints tho (cope, but it's pretty good for some cases)
Anyway, this led me to seperated the Petgirl v5 model into pieces that can be printed out using different color filaments and then put back together^^ With super glue. I'm still figuring out how to print effective joints lol. If that something you are into then there's a PetGirlV7 stl files for you!
I also multi-filament printed the face part of a scaled-up V7 as you can see in the photo. Even with just this tiny face print, I did waste a lot of filament for this= =" so for the long term it's not really a viable way to do it. That's why I also bought some acrylic markers, primer(still hasn't been used on any of these), sandpapers, and other painting stuff! I really have to practice a lot to get anywhere good cuz I suck at irl painting T T But yeah! Future 3d printing projects gonna involve more painting hopefully!
That's my report on my 3d printing adventure! I'm having quite fun with it and I hope it's at least a bit interesting to you!
Hope you are well and stay awesome!
YOU ABSOLUTELY ROCK!
