【wip】進捗5 (Pixiv Fanbox)

新体制（夜型生活）にしてから、毎日１ページ必ず仕上げまで終わる＆先の下書きを進めることができてます。大体作業時間は4-5時間程度で、深夜0時～1時スタートのことが多いです。

昼に原稿やるより筆のノリが明らかに違うの分かりますでしょうか…。生活リズムは人それぞれですね。ここまで自由な勤務スタイル取れるのもこの仕事ならではですが…。

昼間に原稿やろうとしてた時は描こうとしても描けなくて進まず、持病で身体はバラバラになるくらい痛いわ、自分で制御できない眠気が襲ってきて床で倒れてたり、気づけば夕方過ぎの時報で起こされて絶望するみたいな生活だったので「真夜中ってこんなに頭冴えるんだ！」と感動しています。この好調が少しでも長く続きますように…。

Since switching to my new schedule (being fully nocturnal), I've been consistently finishing at least one page a day and making progress on future drafts as well. I usually work for about 4–5 hours, often starting around midnight or 1 AM.

Can you tell the difference? Compared to when I tried drawing during the day, my productivity and creative flow are completely different. I guess everyone's body clock really is different. Being able to experiment with a schedule this flexible is one of the unique perks of this job.

Back when I was forcing myself to work during the day, I'd sit down intending to draw and get almost nothing done. My chronic illness would leave me in pain, I'd get hit by overwhelming sleepiness that I couldn't control, sometimes ending up collapsed on the floor, and before I knew it I'd be waking up to the evening chime feeling completely defeated.

Now I'm honestly amazed by how clear-headed and focused I feel in the middle of the night. I hope this productive streak lasts for as long as possible.
