At the end of the sewer（EN） (Pixiv Fanbox)

Today, Hinata is back at work as a private investigator.

Her latest assignment is to conduct a background check on a certain individual.

Hinata thought it would be a simple job, but while tailing the person, something unexpected happened.

“Ugh... it really does stink.”

To her surprise, the target had actually gone into the sewer.

Unlike the target, who had been secretly carrying a pair of waders, Hinata wasn’t prepared to walk through the sewer.

But she couldn’t afford to lose sight of the target now that she’d finally picked up their trail, so she reluctantly stepped into the sludge-filled sewer.

The sludge reached up to her thighs, and a foul stench assaulted Hinata’s nostrils.

She could barely keep her feet on the bottom, so she was careful not to accidentally sink into a deeper spot.

“...I’ll make sure to bring sewer gear next time.”

Enduring the unpleasant sensation of the sludge on her legs, Hinata made up her mind.

This time, Hinata gets covered in “sludge.”

Since I had Marnie from “Detective Marnie” go into the sewers last month, I decided to let Hinata try it out too.

It definitely looks like it would be bad for your health—I wonder if she’ll be okay after coming out of there? (Such is life.)

I plan to post the next update in three days, giving it a little break in between.
