Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (390) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Evening peeps, Scriptor here with a (belated) dev update!

General news:

First off let me apologize for the bout of radio silence in the past week and a half: The last Wednesday of Januari marked the end of the ambulatory phase of my treatment. This means my clinical treatment (in its entirety) is now over; subsequently ending one hell of a chapter in my life. Am I completely cured? Not by a long shot. Am I doing as well as before I imploded last summer? At some points I do (even better even), at some points I unfortunately don’t. But I do know now how to work on myself and my fears; which is what’s going to help me the most in the long run. Exposure sucks ass, never gets anymore fun. But it DOES work. Now here’s to hoping that if I keep doing it, things will eventually get a whole lot easier! 🤞

As for my sudden bout of silence: During my last day there the therapist gave me a “goodbye present.” Alas it wasn’t a box of edibles/goodies as most other places do (if only it was that nice lmao). Instead they gave me quite a weird final exposure, only less focused on my actual fear(s) and one more about something that I also did (do) worry about. And it has to do with being silent suddenly for longer periods.

Unfortunately that’s all I’m allowed to say about it. Sorry for being so vague, but with exposures that have a social aspect it’s been thought to me (by the clinic) to be as silent as possible about it...since talking about it lessens the (positive) effect. Just know that the silence was intended, that I’m doing fine. And that I apologize for (missing) the last 3 dev updates! 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

And from here on out it’s back into the regular posting schedule; let’s hop into it!

Game development:

I’ve been working on Primrose’s bad end scene and Kat’s nurse outfit! Progress in the last stretch of time has been a bit slower than I’d hoped (as I had to round off some things with the psychiatrist/therapists after the final clinic day). That said, I do have been making more progress with Kat’s (squeaky) procedure. :nurse:

The body modifications shots have been completed last week and currently I’m fiddling with the shots that follow directly after. Which sees Kat’s hairdo getting a nice color treatment...with some very special hairdryers. Needless to say that those things do more than just dry hair though. >;3

I’ve also been working on Kat’s (ASSistant) nurse outfit; it’s still a bit basic and needs some more work. But the base is there, and I’m curious to see what everybody will think of it once I start to tease it off. It’s a bit less restrictive than I normally do(?), but I feel that’s fitting for this bad end. Since Prim needs her ASSistant (slightly) dexterous to help her with her daily tasks. Less restrictive doesn’t mean any less shiny though. 😏

I’m aiming to have the nurse outfit done before coming Wednesday; since the last bit of the operating boutique sees Kat’s (enhanced) butt wiggled into it. After that focus will shift towards the scene that plays after the timeskip. 💪
