Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (397) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Evening folks, Scriptor here with the latest dev news!

Game development:

I’ve wrapped up the last images for Prim’s bad end; now moving focus to the other planned bad end for the upcoming build: It took me a bit longer than I expected, between DAZ throwing (multiple) fusses, Windows 11 being unstable (could we just have XP back please?) and some family stuff to deal with. Luckily the first two (seem to be) resolved and the latter is stable. And in the meantime I managed to squeeze in those last shots. Apologies for missing the dev update last Wednesday! 🙇‍♂️

Anyhow with those final shots done it’s (really) time to move onto the other planned bad end for the upcoming build. This one will either be pretty easy (or pretty damn hard) to make; depending on how hard I can rub my two whole braincells together to get what I’m trying to achieve. I don’t want to spoil too much of it: But it involves rubber, suits and an expansion of the Blackmond family...if you could call it that. That said, I picked up some new tricks/learned a few things in the last few months. So hopefully it should err to the “pretty easy” side of things. I’ll be finding out tomorrow. 💪

Goal is to get most of the Blender stuff sorted for the bad end before the end of the week comes knocking, which should be feasible if it doesn’t turn out unreasonably hard (or at least for my skill level). I intend to make this bad end less big in scope overall compared to Prim’s one, so hopefully this also means that I’ll be done (a lot) quicker with it. This dev cycle is already dragging on way longer than I’d liked. :[
