Status on the game

I’ve just finished proofreading all the new material written for V017.1 of No escape: Game edition! It boils down to around 4000 words but with the exclusion of one last small event all the story required for day of the priestess submit events as been written! ^^ Tomorrow the process of coding all the new text/images into game will start: I expect this to go much quicker tan normal since this time around I’ve got all the stuff I want to put into the game ready, so I can fully focus on coding instead of trying to render, write and code simultaneously like I’ve been doing up until now. ^^

Before I finish this post I would like to thank all of you for your support last month; there hasn’t been that much new content in July since a lot of my time was focused on reworking parts of the game (the combat rework for example). Together with starting two side-projects (the rubber mermaid imageset and the new ponygirl comic) I’ve been getting a bit side-tracked to say the least… So I’ve been reflecting on my workflow: From now on out I’ll finish projects one-by-one; meaning I’ll first focus 100% of my attention on pushing out V0.17.1 of No escape: Game edition, then focus on finishing the rubber mermaid image set and so on. This way projects don’t get shelved for months and you guys will be getting access to finished updates/imagesets/comics more frequently.

Being an artist and running a FANBOX is still all very new for me; the saying “we make it up as we go along” really applies to me! :’) But with every oopsie I make I learn something new, and it’s in making mistakes that a person grows. That said, I’ll try to refrain from making big oopsies!
