Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (57) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Good afternoon everybody, Scriptor here with the Sunday news!

Game development

The past few days have been focused on rendering the end sequence of the Salon Sweeties fail-state. My plan was to make something that included custom made vac-beds from Blender; ones made with Blender’s cloth simulator… For those who’ve ever worked with the cloth simulator you most likely know how “finicky” the thing can be, and although the result doesn’t *totally* stand up to my quality standards (some minor clipping here and there); the sequence still came out pretty good! 😊

With the end sequence of the Salon Sweeties fail-state rendered the only scene left to make is the plot progression onboard the prisonship. This isn’t really a complex nor big sequence so I’ll be tackling it next weekend, meaning that tomorrow work for this update shifts into the second phase; writing all the dialogue/plot and coding it together with the images into rpgmaker MV (huzzah)! As such I’ve now got a rough estimate of when V0.20.1 is ready: It’s a careful estimate (since I’m not sure how much time writing/coding the playable fail-state will turn out to be), but I strive to release V.20.1 on the 27th of February for Tier III.

Teasers:

Kathleen: ‘Wait like, where am I?’

Anne: “Hey there Sweetie! I must say that I barely recognize you after all these years; the BRAIN-DRAINER juice really did wonders for your face!~

Kathleen: *Giggles* “Thank you Anne! But like, where are we?”

Anne: “Permanent storage sweetie! Just take a look to your left~”

Kathleen: “Oh. My."

Kathleen: “GAWDDDD!!~”

Some snaps from the end sequence. For context: During the fail-state Kathleen is injected with “brain-drainer juice”; a chemical cocktail that makes her very horny and more compliant to the suits demands. “Unfortunately” it also alters the users looks quite substantially and makes them a total airhead, hence Kathleen’s bimbo-like looks and behavior during the end sequence. >;3

That’s it for this dev update, have a good Sunday and see you guys this Wednesday! ^^

Greetz,

Scriptor
