Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (62) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Eyoooo, Scriptor here with the Wednesday news! ;3

Game development

Game development has been continuing at a fast pace and currently I’m hard at work putting the final touches to the second shift of the playable salon sweeties fail-state. It’s turning out a lot more expansive than I originally planned: Ranging from the PROGRAMMING mechanic directly tied into the gameplay, potentially locking off choices Kathleen will be able to make. To faux “fights” against dirty spots on the floors during the second shift, and a SH*TTON of flavor dialogue for the different amounts of programming Kathleen has during it all. Oh and on fun thing to mention is that Kathleen will be able to make it through all the “base” content of the playable fail-state without getting ANY programming. If she manages to do this there’s a “grand prize” waiting for her at the end! >;3

All that remains for this update is implementing the third shift of the fail-state, the actual end that becomes unlocked after all the base events of the playable fail-state are over and some major balancing/grammar checking/bug hunting. The update will release coming Wednesday for Tier III as scheduled, but the poll will be delayed to this Sunday because all my attention is currently on coding. (The crunch is real ;p)

Teasers:

Meet BESTIE, Kathleen’s best-es friend during the Salon Sweetie failsafe! She’ll act as Kathleen’s constant companion during said fail-state and responsible for turning our heroine into a true BIMBO DOLL. >;3

Snip of the V.I.P. area of Salon Sweeties, the Sweetie doll sprites are done by the amazing Tonkatsu! ^^

And a snip of the faux battle against the dirty floors, truly battles of epic scale will be had during this failstate! ;p

That’s it for this dev update, hope you guys have a pleasant Wednesday and see you guys this Sunday for the last dev update of this update’s development cycle! ^^

Greetz,

Scriptor
