Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (70) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Eyooooo, Scriptor here with the Sunday news! ^^

Game development

Work in the past few days has been on getting all the assets ready for the Lysi work events and fail-state. At first I planned to make the “hidden” fail-state associated with the work events a somewhat “smaller” sequence, but the entire peril has struck quite an creative cord within me… Meaning that this fail-state will also be another pretty big one. ^^

Now I’m not going back on my words in keeping playable fail-states sporadic in the game and I wouldn’t classify the Lysi work events fail-state as an playable fail-state. However, it will be another pretty long one with more interaction that an “regular” fail-state (which usually is a cutscene that diverges in either con or non-con). I won’t say too much now as to keep some surprises, but let’s just say the Lysi fail-state has become a lot more interesting than I originally envisioned. ^^

However in setting up everything for this fail-state I’d to make a lot of custom props/adjustments inside Blender. As such I haven’t yet arrived at rendering any of the work scenes/ the fail-state, although I will be able to start with this tomorrow. No worries; it hasn’t caused any major delays in my planned schedule, it simply means that the first teasers of the work events will come this Wednesday instead of today. Meaning that today you’ll get some more teasers of the police fail-state! ;p

Teasers

Some more teasers of the police fail-state. These renders are from the small epilogue that plays as part of the sequence, in which we see how Kathleen has (or rather been) adjusted to the life of a tongue toy… >;3

That’s all for this exclusive dev update, see you guys coming Wednesday! ;D

Greetz,

Scriptor
