Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (77) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Heya people, Scriptor here with the latest news bulletin! ^^

Game development

Progress in the last few days has been very good and the only major thing left to implement for V0.21.1 is the police fail-state. I expect to be able to fully write and implement said fail-state tomorrow and after that it will be bug-fixing and playtesting to fish out any major bugs before the tier III release coming Sunday. ^^

The escape sequence at the police station came out pretty well in the end; it’s not as big and complex as I first envisioned it to be but nonetheless a lot more fun than the regular cutscene that plays during the “normal” escape sequences. I’ll most likely do more of these kind of mini-game escape sequences in the future (where appropriate), although the cutscene “only” escape sequences will remain the norm for the foreseeable future. ;3

And that’s it for this exclusive dev update! There really isn’t that much more to say before the release coming Sunday, other than that I’m very excited to almost be able to share with you guys the hard work of the past few weeks on V0.21.1! ^^

And a final snip of the mini-game the players has to clear to avoid said fail-state, there are three ways to get out of the cell, can you find them all. ;3
