Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (121) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hey all, Scriptor here with a chicken-soup dev update! (chicken-soup not included) >;3

General news

As announced last Sunday I’ve been pretty ill the last few days; it started Friday afternoon with a sore throat and a little cough, before shooting straight into high fevers during the weekend, with Monday finally being the first day I didn’t feel like utter shit. I still feel pretty shabby, but there is an upward trend in my health, so hopefully I’ll make a full recovery soon.

As to all of you who wished me well in the past few days; I really appreciate it. It’s another reminder of how lucky I am to have such a nice fanbase, and though I don’t say it as often as I should: I really appreciate you guys for keep me and my health in mind, even though I’m just some random dude making shiny 3D pictures online. ;3 ^^

Onto the dev news!

Game development

Work on the game hasn’t been as quick as I’d like in the past few days due to my illness, but (thankfully) I’ve been able to do at least some stuff since last Sunday. I’ve managed to render out all the flashback images; giving a glimpse into Kathleen’s past and her team members. I’ve also modeled the remaining stuff for the living server bank fail-state, of which the first images are rendering as I’m typing this dev update. ^^

Plan is (if my health permits it) to finish up the entire fail-state this week, so that next week I can start on making the second upcoming fail-state. Expect to hear the jist of that one come Sunday!

Teasers

Two teasers of the flashback scene; seeing an overconfident (rookie) Kat… not making a great expression on her (experienced) crew members.

And two teasers from the render-cue of today; first is a POV shot of the server bank fail-state which sees Kathleen waking up to very smug S.O.P.H.I.A. … and the second one is Kathleen finding out why (as you guys will be come Sunday)! >;3
