Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (204) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Heya people, Scriptor here with the latest dev news bulletin! ^^

Game development

I’ve made and implemented the new story scene aboard the prisonship into the game! Like announced in the previous dev update I’ll be doing “straight-line” implementation for most of the scene in V0.28.1; so when I’ve got all the images done and processed for a particular scene I’ll also try to write and implement it right away.

As such the entire story scene is already written and inside the game: Seeing the twins meeting with their boss and getting a big slap on the butt for all the ignored irregularity reports aboard the ship… Needless to say that after this the duo will be a lot less lenient, spelling very bad news for our Kat and Jack! ;0

Tomorrow work will start on one of the major locations planned for V0.28.1: Namely a small, dainty magic shop located in the third “big” VR-world’s hub area! It’s run by a busty warlock lady who sells all sorts of curious things, and needs help with something down in her basement… Surely nothing bad can come from that, right? >;3

First up for the above will be the character design for the warlock lady and some early work on the design for one of the very special “self-help items” she sells inside her store. Said item also plays a major role in one of the upcoming bad ends for V0.28.1; so I’ll be spending ample time on it to make sure it becomes something juicy. Expect some teasers of it (and the warlock lady) this Sunday. 😉

Teasers of the story pression this time around, seeing the twins finally arriving at the coms hub aboard the ship! The duo is rather irked about getting a call from the admiral, mainly because they’re never fun ones…

Though they do their best to hide these feelings behind false flattery. Putting on their best smiles, the two receive their boss with fake courtesy-

Which immediately gets rebuked by the imposing admiral. Seems like Eve and Zoe are not going to wiggle their way out of this easily, let’s just hope it stays with a scolding and not something worse… ;0
