Game development

I’ve just implemented the last major scene into the game, and am now working on tying everything together into one coherent experience: With that I mean stuff like connecting the various work events with task/quest givers, fluff, making hooks/dialogues in the escape events, fixing underlying code and so on... Admittedly not the most interesting stuff; but important for the experience (to work lol) nonetheless! ;3

The last major scene (night custodian fail-state) has been implemented into the game this afternoon, which was also the last big scene I needed to tackle. With that all the new 540+ images are now in the game (my god haha), and I’m fast approaching a stable beta build... which means the actual release build isn’t far away either. 💪

That said I’m going to hold onto the 5th of July release date for Tier III; primarily because the painter is visiting our house from tomorrow on! I’m also writing this update from the workroom downstairs instead of my normal abode; since the guy has to paint basically all the attic’s windows... And all the other windows for that matter. No idea how much of a wrench this is going to throw into my workflow (I expect little to none), but just to err on the safe side I’ll be sticking to the 5th of July. Better safe than sorry! 😇

And today I’ve got more teasers of the “night custodians”! These hulking, bouncy bubbly “girls” would love nothing more to give any loose running initiate a nice big hug... even if the initiate in question is less-than-eager to receive it. Might be best to avoid those cute things all together though; since Kathleen’s far from equipped to deal with them in her naked state! >;3
