Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (281) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Game development

I’ve rendered out all the images for the drider escape sequence, together with a short introduction scene for the spiderly ladies out in the woods: The latter sees the eight-legged beauties get their hands (paws?) on a foolish farmhand, who had hoped to get her hands on some easy riches from the demon queen’s castle ruins. Alas it’s not riches she found but something else, said “something else” eagerly explaining their plans to the farmhand damsel... which Kathleen of course overhears, from the (relative) safety of some bushes. :smirk:

Besides this I’ve also render out all the images for the escape sequence, which errs a bit on the short side. But then again I also want to do a portion on the 2D map; in which Kathleen has to actually sneak out of their cave... while avoiding certain (literal) pitfalls. Still that doesn’t mean I haven’t endeavored to make something joocy (and fun) out of the first part of this sequence. And just like with the other capture sequences getting captured three times means a rather inescapable fate... in which the spider lady takes ZERO chances with her webbing skills. >:3

Only one (major) scene remains to render for the spider ladies and that’s their fail-state, which I’ll be starting on tomorrow. Goal is to have the entire scene setup by Friday and it’s a pretty complex one, since I want to fill the “egg chamber” with quite a few “egg sacks” besides Kathleen... which means a lot of custom posing and a lot of webbing “simulations” in Blender. Still it’s all for a good (or best of) cause, and if nothing (severely) unexpected comes my why I should have the first images rolling off the belt by Friday evening. 💪

Rubber drider 1: “Oh now that’s so UNFAIR!”

Rubber drider 1: “I was TOTALLY the one who first saw her! If anybody has dibs on her it’s ME!”

Rubber drider 2: “Nuh-uh! You know the rules sis, who-ever CAPTURES the new egg sack gets first to break her in. And in who’s webbing is she strung up?~”

Rubber drider 1: “Ugh that’s only because she managed to dodge mine! If I were the one to ambush her from the top of a tree you’d be the one pouting now.”

Farmhand: “Mffffggghhh!”

Rubber drider 1 and 2: “Oh hush!”

Rubber drider 1: “We’re arguing here egg sack, just be nice and quiet.”

Rubber drider 2:”Yeah don’t you worry, you’ll get your belly stuffed soon enough~”

Farmhand: “HMMMFGGHHH!!!”
