Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (285) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Evening peeps, Scriptor here with the latest dev news bulletino!

Game development

I’ve finished up the castle guardian design and am currently in the process of making their battle images: Work in the past few days has been a bit slower than I would’ve liked; primarily because I’ve been dealing with that infection in my left ear. Which left me feeling a lot worse than I’d anticipated last Sunday... That said, I’ve gotten some ear drops of the doc last Monday. And those seem to be really kicking in since today; meaning that I’m doing (luckily) much better now. Fingers crossed it’s only uphill from here! 🤞

In between all that “fun” with my messed-up ear I still managed to get some work done on No escape though; focus being on the castle guardian duo (mini-boss). After some more fiddling with their headgear/base design I’m now pleased with their base look: Which is basically a mix between a stronk female powerhouse and a squeaky drone... from the more “eldritch/otherwordly” variety; see the teasers down below. ;3

With their base design done I’ve started working on their battle images, which (if my ear infection plays nice) I should be able to wrap up before the weekend hits. That way I can start work on their bad end images next week. :muscle:

Onto the teasers!

Teasers

Castle guardian: “...”

Castle guardian: “...”

Castle guardians: “.....”

And for today’s teasers it’s the reveal of the castle guardian duo! Two hulking powerhouses that are as strong as they are stacked, they’ll be Kathleen’s primary adversaries in the ruined castle’s upper dungeon... better stay out of their grip; lest Kathleen meets another shiny (untimely) fate! >;3

That’s all for this dev update folks, see you all at the next one this Sunday!

Greetz,

Scriptor
