Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (339) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Afternoon peeps, Scriptor here with the latest dev news bulletin!

Game development

I’ve wrapped up the S.O.P.H.I.A. side-quests mini-boss design; together with its battle images: As with most of S.O.P.H.I.A. minions this one’s mechanical nature and maybe one of the most high-tech ones yet; as Tark_Ark made a great robotic body kit which I’ve been itching to try out for some time now... Resulting in maybe the fanciest drone in cybercity yet! 💯

Said drone isn’t only pretty eye candy though; as S.O.P.H.I.A. intended to use it as an “infiltration” drone outside of the factory. Even going so far as programming it with limited autonomy so it could make decisions even when disconnected from S.O.P.H.I.A.... which of course immediately backfired. The end result is a very dangerous drone stuck in “sub-optimal” programming and it’s up to Kathleen to get it out of that loop; by resetting the sub-mainframe its attached to. Needless to say the infiltration drone isn’t going to just let that happen though!

All the battle images are done for the “infiltrator” drone (bar maybe 1-2 which will need a quick quality pass this evening), so come tomorrow I’ll be jumping into its associated fail-state: Starting off with the Blender design of the “product” Kathleen finds herself transformed into... 👀

Oh and a small reminder; be sure to cast your vote in the convent fail-state poll if you haven’t already done so! And for you folks on FANBOX be sure to cast your vote in ALL the poll tiers you’ve got access to; else your vote won’t be weighted as heavily as it should! I’m sorry for the rather clunky system; but until FANBOX (one day hopefully) introduces an integrated poll system; you’ll have to bear with me and this setup. ;#
