Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (354) (Pixiv Fanbox)

Good evening all, Scriptor here with the latest dev news bulletino!

Game development:

I’ve started with the pre-production of V0.34.1: The first week of a new dev cycle consist (almost) always of brainstorming, making (some of) the base assets needed for the upcoming build and a whole lot of other preparatory stuff. As such I usually “omit” the first dev report after dropping a build (since there isn’t that much to tell/tease yet). But since we’re going into a NEW VR-world, I’ve been prepping some things for a “grand reveal” of this new place.

So without further ado...let’s get into that reveal! >:3

New VR-world reveal:

???: “Welcome you street urchi-... Patients. I and my sisters welcome you to our esteemed MENTAL CORRECTION FACILITY. It is here where will ‘cure’ you of all errant behavior and thoughts, as you’ll be subjected to one of our three ways of treatment-”

???: “’Mental correction facility?’” Dear god, just tell them how it is Vi! It’s not like this rabble will be able to TELL anybody on the outside what’s really going on in here. After all, none leave without their minds thoroughly REFORMED by our methods... And the ones who do manage to resist, well they just NEVER leave at all do they?~”

???: “Soooo do we get to PICK who’s assigned to which treatment this time? I’m eyeing quite the CUTIE there with an AMAZING ASS, and my dick’s just THROBBING to shoot a load in that hot butt-“

???: “Oh will you both just HUSH?! I’m trying to give a proper introduction to the new batch of slave-... patients!”

??? & ???: “Sorry Vi~”

???: “Good. Now, welcome all-”

There you have it folks, the next VR-world will none other than a:

Rubber asylum VR-world! 🏥

Run by a very familiar pair of sisters. How did Rose manage to get back and why are the tree running an Asylum? Well... that will be revealed at a later dev update. >:3

And now with the new VR-world properly announced, it’s time to dive into the plans for V0.34.1!

V0.34.1 plans

V0.34.1 will introduce the first “chunk” of the rubber asylum VR-world, as like with Thornvine I’m planning two primary “routes” through the place. One “serving” oriented (in which Kathleen enrolls as a patient inside the asylum). And one “combat” oriented, in which she doesn’t...and instead fights/sneaks/traverses her way through the place.

I’m planning to tackle the combat route first, since of the two paths that will be the most “straightforward” one to implement. However, since this is the first update of the new VR-world and I need to make a LOT of new (custom) assets for the place (ranging from the patient suits, to “therapeutic” bondage contraptions, to enemies and so on), I estimate that both paths will be roughly the same in development length nonetheless.

Anyhow, the plans for V0.34.1 are to implement a big (if not all) part of the combat route. Containing at the very least:

- 1 Mini-boss.

- 1 Common enemy.

- Two fail-states (for the above encounters).

- 1-3 traps strewn about the place (with their own mini-fail states).

- A story scene (or two).

- And a good chunk of the rubber asylum maps.

Big list this time around, but that was to be expected since it’s the first dev cycle of a new VR-world. 💪
