小さなTipsのつもりがまずまずのボリュームになってしまいました

ノート毎に複数のインストゥルメントからランダムに鳴らすInstrument Rackです。

今後のチュートリアルで頻出の手法となりますので、あらためて作り方の解説と最新版のRackを配布します。

Instrument Rack that randomly sounds from multiple instruments for each note.

Since it will be a frequent technique in future tutorials, I will distribute the latest version and explain it in detail in the video again.

●使用例 / Sound Preview

動画ではランダムセレクターの使用例として、M4LデバイスのBouncy Notesと組み合わせてパッドサウンドを作っています。

In this video, the random selector is used in combination with the Bouncy Notes (M4L device) to create pad sounds as an example of its use.

以前に紹介した「ランダムに音色を切り替える方法」の最新版で

・Live Intro〜Suite対応 / Available on all editions of Live (Intro~Suite)

・付属デバイスのみ使用 / Using only devices included in Live

・Velocity対応 / Velocity Compatible

・チェーンの簡素化 / Simplified chain

と、微妙にアップデートしています。

●Instrument Rack (Ableton Live 12 or later)

・ランダムセレクター本体 / Random Selector part

チェーンの中身は空っぽですので、お好みのインストゥルメントをドラッグでロードしてください。プラック系などのアタックのはっきりした音色がおすすめです。

The chains are empty, so you can load instruments of your choice by dragging them into the chain.

●他DAWの場合 / In case of other DAW

BitwigとFLではそれぞれ以下の機能を使ってほぼ同じ方法で再現可能です。

Bitwig and FL can be implemented using the following features.

・Bitwig Studio

　→Instrument Selector→Random

・FL Studio

　→Layer機能のLayering→Random

また、Logic Proでは、

Track Stackで

・メイントラックにMIDIリージョンを置く

・メイントラックにRandomizer (Velocity)

・サブトラックにVelocity ProcessorでNote Rangeをそれぞれ別の範囲に設定

・サブトラックのInstrumentの前段にVelocity ProcessorでVelocityを戻す

で実装できそうな予感がしていますが、これは検証していません...！

その他のDAWは未検証です...
