Gem Knights III! ... Part 1

Yes, there will be a second part the week after next, for a variety of reasons. On the one hand there's the time problem, I've still managed 500 pages, but if Part 2 is about the same size I probably wouldn't have been able to finish it by now. 1000 pages are also a bit much at once, I think 500 pages already have more content than a whole volume of a manga. In any case, another part is coming soon, for all those who like Gem Knights that's definitely good news, I think lol

Even though chapter III is split into two parts, the first part is already my longest comic ever (no I'm not doing this on purpose) Gem Knights is just too much fun for me and I often overdo it.

Saphira is the main focus in this comic, her story is a bit darker than Esme's, but we're used to that from Gem Knights. Her corruption needs a certain amount of build-up to work properly. Heroes don't just become villains.

Amber and Ruby also got some scenes. My main goal was to prepare them for their chapters and provide a bit of context.

Amber is still my favorite character, by the way.

Forshadowing .... this chapter has a lot of it, some of which we will get resolved in Chapter 3 Part 2. To forshadow one last time, the next part is about sisters, evil and love (very cheesy.)

Hope you enjoy the latest chapter of Gem Knights!
