I'm going to be blunt. On the one hand I am kind of loving this puppy play stuff with Rebecca and Elliot, but in a totally non-sexual way. I love the play and 'petspace' stuff. On the other I am just not feeling it for building to a sexy conclusion. I've been struggling with what to do so I thought I'd get y'alls opinion.

I can either rewind a few chapters to before pet play is introduced and start again on a different bdsm angle, I can continue on with the pet play being purely a power dynamic and a playful thing and not sexual (probably my preference, but I understand the want for smut), or I can just power through and do my best with a sexy conclusion. It's up to you!

I am so sorry for the hiccup. This is one of the risks with writing some of my serials free-form like I do. I like to try different things and sometimes I wander down these dead ends.

No option to continue as is but the pet play was just an apetizer without continuing the sex in the same setting?

Didn't think about that option, honestly. I think that would make this Rebecca section a bit too long anyway, so I'm going to stick with these options. But that was a good point, sorry I missed it.

Unfitforpurpose

Rebecca needing the control this offers with Elliot's intrusion (her perspective) into the family while keeping her sexual side to her husband seems to fit the character pretty well.

Yeah. The fact that option 3 has yet to get one vote tells me I did the right thing putting this to a poll.

I'm surprised I'm the outlier here! I'm not even really into pet play but I thought it was handled well and I was interested to see where it was headed - clearly not the direction of travel but thought I should say I don't think you fucked this up or anything!

I've always just assumed you had plans for her from the beginning, but I am surprised Elliot's ex (Blair) hasn't come up in the context of Rebecca yet I mean, she's basically declared that Rebecca and her family don't know a quality man when they see one given that she ditched him as not being good enough for her Leaving aside the kinky stuff, Rebecca just having her new personal assistant pour Elliot a glass of water would satisfy both immensely. Which is why I assumed you were saving that basic concept for a rainy day
