Hey gang,

I just wanted to put out a quick poll to gauge where the interest level is at for Slave Girl 3. Note that this is merely an opinion poll to see where you all are at, any decisions will be mine in the end. I know this will be an unwelcome sight to many of you but with what I am seeing I felt like I had to address it head on.

Long story short, from this side of the screen it seems that there is almost no interest in Slave Girl 3. I don't think I've ever released a free story to so little interest before. Readership, likes, comments, everything is downright bleak. I remember ending A Love So Deep because it didn't seem to be taking off, but that story had WAY more going on than SG3 does thus far. And this comes at a time when general interest in my stories, books and patreon are all trending the wrong direction. I HATE to think like this. I prefer to focus on story first, always, but as someone that still has the crazy dream of making a living at this stuff someday I can't ignore the numbers completely. If there is no interest in this story it is probably better to cut my losses before I sink another 200 chapters into it.It is not easy for me to put this poll up. I have been thinking of Slave Girl as a trilogy since almost the beginning and I've got plans for this book which I am quite happy to continue. But I only have so many hours in a day and I'd rather know the truth and adapt as necessary than forge ahead with my head in the clouds.

If I do decide to lay this down it is not necessarily the end of the SG story though. One potential alternative I was thinking about is rewinding and rewriting Slave Girl 2 from the beginning, basically a complete redo from the ground up that stays more focused on Quin and Rosa. But we would have to see.

I'll leave this poll active for a couple of days.

For the record, I'm voting for option 1. lol I'll be interested to see how this turns out.

Im not against a redo of slave girl 2. I didnt hate it and generally enjoy what your doing now. Up to you, im here for most of your story's anyways.

For me I love the story of 1 and 2 but was waiting for a large build up for 3 before I started really getting into it. I will say personally after reading the first couple chapters I wasn't really enjoying Colly, I loved her character in 2 but the early anxiety I read early felt like remaking Rosa from 1 but wasn't really charmed in the same way with her. As a result wanted to wait and let things flesh out instead of being annoyed with the character every chapter read

I am 100% here for Slave Girl. I'm very much so an "occasional reader", in that I will go months and then randomly read a bunch of chapters in a burst and then go another X months without. While I may not be actively present with likes or comments, I continue my support with my unwavering subscription. I'm not far into Slave Girl 3, I think I stopped around the Harpies, but everything has been great as usual so far. That being said, I wouldn't necessarily be against an "alternate" story/rewrite that is more Rosa&Quin-centric, but down the line in ADDITION to SG3, not as a replacement. I love Cassie despite thinking I wouldn't, but I am still a huge fan of monogamous love. I have deeply enjoyed much of your writing, but Slave Girl remains one of my favorite stories of all time.

I confess that Colly is the 'Chloe' of this story, the weird side character that divides opinion. I can definitely try to ease up on the Colly sections going forward without cutting her out either.

I'd say I'm here for SG and 30 days primarily. Read the first two SGs as novels so it's a different experience and I haven't got the habit of reacting to every ep. Potential issue, and please don't take this as a criticism, is the story so far largely involves our heroes getting the crap kicked out of them one way or another. And I'm aware that wouldn't feel quite as relentless if I were reading the whole thing at once. Can't say I love the idea of rewriting 2. I really enjoyed the more sprawling nature and world building of that one. But it's your story.

Awesome feedback! Thank you Nameless.

Yeah, I would hate to negate SG2 as I really loved it. But it also went places I didn't really plan on it going (damned unruly characters lol). It was just an idea as I could imagine a lot of different AU paths from that starting point. Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Used to be here mainly for slave girl and runt of the litter, a love so deep, and Charlie. Currently mainly enjoying Empty nest. (almost the only one, never quite got in 30 days). A Slave girl 1 was amazing. A slave girl 2 went on great. A slave girl 3 I find it... weirdly paced. SG1 had a strong start with introducing Rosa. SG 2 had a strong start in a fixed setting which helped to develop more the lore surrounding it as we knew the main cast. SG3... I don't really know. It starts with Rosa birth place setting some lore. Then the cousin. Then the mother. Then the road. It feels incoherent somewhat. Sg1 had travel too but we were discovering the main cast. Here the main cast is known but the travel feels rushed? Like you intend to go fast to Rosa's land while not quite because there's lore to put a bit in. On a side but it was voted as in. I'm really not fond of speech impairment in text (simple life, collywaddle) so her being more present in sg3 factors too. But that's beside the point. It's like not liking some of empty nest partners. I'll just focus more when I read partners I like reading more. On a slight note about the recent chapters, the bracelet felt really entwined in SG story and I don't quite see how it can go without (the sexual exploration was made with, rosa dependency on it,...). But I am more intrigued than doom speaking here

Kinda same, passively reading before voicing opinion (except that one time i felt Rosa's "Lady" behaviour felt too wrong as a character with the mother)

I voted Option 1 not because I've read or particularly want to read anything beyond the first half of SG1, but because it's clear that it's a passion project for one of my favoured authors I do remember being struck by some alien cultural notions beyond the obviously biological, but I wonder if you're familiar with the free(!) work of Dr Patrick Wyman among others in explaining the commonalities and differences re: 'Roman' culture, such as it was? Something I heard them say with regards to their brand of slavery at that time didn't gel with what I recalled you writing, but both of those were a while ago so I really can't put my finger on what It's not the daemons literally existing and being Egyptian(?). All perfectly fine in terms of internal drama, just stuff that would have the Rome-heads having a fit of conniption

Nope

I can't speak for everyone, but though I love Slave Girl, I love Slave Girl for reasons and those reasons will never be consistent just based on where the story is at every particular moment. I love it for futadom, the interesting novel worldbuilding, and the Romance. And there's only so much of that which can occur while they are post the zenith of their Romance and having conversations with family and are in a familiar safe(ish) territory deep into a world we know a good deal about at least the immediate environment of. Though I'm obviously interested in the story and want it to continue and finish, it will likely only be as universally gripping again if and when those elements become more present. It may also be that the foreshadowing cutaway might have marred some of my interest. Knowing for certain they are going to fight/be at odds with some particular futa warlord sort of contains all of the speculation I might have for their journey. It's not like I don't want it to happen, it's just that the story arc itself seems to have been greatly revealed, and it conveyed to me more or less as a reader, "This is exactly what's going to happen, there won't be much time for romance or sex or any other meaningful novelty, and win or lose that is the conclusion." Also splitting up the talking to family chapters into smaller pieces instead of just one or two biguns might have been a bit boring for some. Regardless, it's a hard option 1 for me. Even if I think that unless there is some adjustment or surprise the series might only be at its best when it's post ending omakes and peek-ins at their hopefully alive happily ever after which involves big futa penis. This story is precious to me and I'd be crushed if it were left behind just to skip around a lull.

Nope

Same, I love Cassie enough I appreciate her and want to see the conclusion of the world she is in.(and more femdom 3way sex) Though I'm also not against seeing AU Rosa and Quin on their own in an UNENDING ETERNAL SPRINGTIME OF THEIR TOTALLY MONOGAMOUS BDSM ROMANCE!

Nope

Yeah, Colly feels very extra, I remember saying earlier that she'd likely become a bit annoying if she ever became a main cast member. And while I'm glad she's alive, I'm not glad she's here. She has a few too many negative qualities to be sexually interesting too. We already have a girl in the mix and she is hot and cool and mean. There's no room for one that's lispy and squat and green.

I am keeping up with and enjoying the story thus far, I'm not sure if you can see viewership number or just likes because I generally only like when that particular chapter resonates with me.

Dakeyress

There are a lot of interesting takes here I second
