Hello all!

I'm back from my enormous, ungainly trip to Italy and through all my big life events and numerous weddings.

I'll be back to posting regular stuff on Patreon fairly soon - the big one being the full release of the KSBD RPG, which is nearing completion.

In the meantime, any questions, comments, concerns? About the comic, the process, getting into comics, arts, life in general, the topic of the next tutorial, etc, etc.

Feel free to post them here and I'll pick away at them as I get settled.

Cheers,

Abbadon

2026-09-07 02:00 Do you have any portion of the text for the RPG completed?

Welcome back! Hope Italy was fun. And since you're asking for questions, I figure I'll go big: With dialogue, it can often seem like it is easy to overwrite or say too much, especially with comics where you balance art and words to make the end result. How do you find your balance, especially in a comic like K6BD where there's so much backstory and lore that needs to be explained to Allison (and the reader)?

AyeBraine

What's your day schedule and intention (or accidents) behind it.

Similar to Mike's question: What is your editing process in relation to dialog and worldbuilding? It can be hard to get information across efficiently, without making a textwall, while still creating natural flowing dialog. Also, where did you start with your worldbuilding? You've got an incredible depth to what you've put in here, how did you decide what was or was not necessary?

Any other comics, webbed or otherwise, that you've been enjoying lately?

Shane Lewis

Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for writers/artists trying to make their mark/get their big toe into the comics world? You seem to have gone about it in a really cool, especially independent manner, so I'd love to hear a bit more about your experience on that front, even.

Hypixion

I asked this on twitter as well but no answer: Will you ever bundle all the written lore of the comic into a book?

Jacob Vett

Maybe a little late for the Q&A, but do you have any tips for networking/befriending other artists, both whether their also stating out or someone whose work you admire?
