Hey all!

Attached to this post is an update for the KSBD RPG with a bunch of fixes to the original text, some art/spelling and some others (including a mistake with some of the character moves being swapped around). Also included is a small rules update/clarification about Clumsy and Empowered rolls.

Enjoy, and as always, thanks to Josh Raveling (our wonderful layout artist) for working on the update and for everyone who helped with the feedback.

Hello marvelous bird! Can there be made form fillable playsheets for online play? Cause I'm forcing my poor internet smutfriends to romp through the Red City at gunpoint!

Zach Armstrong

There's unclear wording in character creation, do player characters start at level 1 and get an advanced move right out of the gate or at level 0? Does only the Fated start at level one, as they're the only playbook that mentions choosing an advanced move?

Add a blank page for the "back" of the cover, otherwise us folks using double sided printing get the chapter markers on the left side instead of the right T_T

Thanks for all your work! It would be a good idea to put a version number or release date somewhere (perhaps on page 2, or in a note annotation?) so it's easy to tell which of two versions of the PDF is newer, without relying on filenames or timestamps which might change.

I hope that with the success of Lancer you will one day get to produce a hardcover or paperbook polished version (I say polish just because of a few typos and things, could be nice with an FAQ too huehuehue) of this! Would swiftly become THE PbtA that I force feed all of my poor friends. Love this universe sooo sooo much. Amazing work!

Thanks for the rules clarification. Some of my players wouldn't have understood them.

In the example of play at the beginning, it says that daggers have the thrown quality, but in the weapon section, knives have a range of hand and lack the thrown tag. Is this intentional?

Hey, I had a quick clarification question about Armour - the Example of Play mentions armour as being a passive stat which reduces incoming damage, but the main section refers to it as a spendable resource. Is the former just a relic of an earlier iteration of the system, or does Armour pull double duty as a passive reduction with the ability to spend it for more hit mitigation?

I think eye splitting shadow and writhing shadow from the refined advanced power list are duplicates.
