I'd say set the last updated page to the splash of the sword strike - then say in big text "Hit Next to see further, spoiler pages!"

Spoilers haven't bothered me yet, but for patreon, uploading a placeholder for the first image in the set would probably be enough?

AFAICS, only the first image is displayed splashwise on entry to Patreon. Therefore, perhaps add a masking image to the start of the sequence so that Patrons don't see the real story until they're ready. Personally, I've been desperate to see the previews. Also, Cio!!!!!!!!!!!!!
