Hello everyone!

I'm here again for another update!

This time the update adds more features to the training system, adding the stat system and introducing new ways to get cards to use in the training system! Getting some through story progression and some trough raising Remya's stats.

I'll update the walkthrough soon so you can check if you didn't miss anything but if you raise Remya's stats you should unlock the card there is to unlock this version.

I've also been reworking some of the early illustrations of the game and I tried to push to release it with this update because this one is mostly about prepping things for the future of the game but sadly I would've needed to delay the update more for that to be possible and I wanted to avoid that. So I guess it just means the next update will be even bigger!

Speaking of the next update, it will actually probably be one of the big ones since I'll be working on the rescue mission of the missing ribbling, which mean I'll be expanding on the exploration system and that's something I'm really looking forward to work on, so i hope you're looking forward to it too!

But enough talking, thank you all for listening to me, I'll now go work on the next update while I let you enjoy this one!

This is my first time doing playing these games how do I go back to where I left off? I saved it but it’s not loading.

The magical continent

Hello! Normally you should be able to load a save but if you played the game with your browser in incognito it might have disappeared. If it's not that, you also have an option when starting a new game of saying "I've already played the game before" and you will be given checkpoints by the game to start from certain points of the story.

I don't know man...I don't want to be rude, but i see that the game progressing very slowly. Let me start by saying that i absolutely don't want to belittle your work, on the contrary, i think you have excellent ideas and i find the game very entertaining, i have nothing to say about it. I also understand that it's not easy, buuuuuut frankly it seems excessive to me to pay the subscription and then see over the months that the updates released are very small additions. I want to support, but I can't even spend that much money on a game that is still a small demo even after so long

(Long post warning but don't worry, I totally respect the opinion.) That's fine I understand the criticism. I'll be honest though, I will give you all the processes and explanations, but there isn't much more I can offer. This update in particular, however, wasn't greatly handled, I started reworking the first illustrations but there was too much to rework for it to be ready for this update so it ultimately lowered the content of the update since it's something that will be available only in the future, that's the last time I will rework parts of the game like that for this reason, so I can at least confidently say that next update will be a way better one. Also, you joined the Patreon around the time I released the last update which was way bigger so it's understandable you feel that way, last update took around 2month to be pulled out while with this one I tried to release it in around 1 month, maybe I should've just released it in 2month and properly release all the content needed, can't really tell what's best, maybe I'll do a poll in the future to see what kind of things people prefer with updates. Now, aside from this update, I still want to speak about things that will ultimately still make my updates shorter than other games: the nature of the game. I know all the tricks other devs use to make their updates longer like making their games grindy or adding walls of text but I want to make a fun exploration game with some nice interactive mechanics sprinkled around, so I'm not interested in these processes. The game I want to make requires having lots of scenes and events so it needs a lot more work per minute of gameplay than if I used those tricks. Add to that the fact that I heavily prioritize quality and consistency (this one is the most important.) for the illustration and you end up with updates that, when released monthly, can feel short even if they have a fair amount of sex scenes because everything is very compact. The game is nearing 40 sex scenes (not counting build-up scenes, which would add a lot more.), that's as much as some full games with triple the hours of gameplay but since I'm not interested in structuring my game like those I sadly can't say much more here. In short, all I can say is, that this update in particular was a bit shorter because I couldn't release everything I've been working on but even so, because the content is so compact without much fluff, everything gets cleared pretty quickly, so unless I give more time to the updates it will be a bit complicated because of how dense the game will end being up once finished. So if you feel like it isn't worth the prize I totally understand and respect the opinion, I tried to fairly give you all the cards. I'm also open to any proposition you have to make the updates better if you have any.

Great reply and I understand your pov. I will say another thing that would help create expectations is providing a rough estimation of how long the next update will take. I understand some updates are of varying sizes but I think it would be a good idea to give a rough approximation of how long the next release will take. (For example, you just released 0.8. Provide a little note out of transparency about how long it will be till 0.9 comes out)

The magical continent

You're right, I usually make ETA posts to tell people where the update progress is at with an approximate release date and then update the post as progress is made but those tend to come about 3weeks after the update. So I should probably start dedicating a section to inform people where the update's at and the first projection of how long it should take on my poll posts that come sooner after the updates, the next one being one that will arrive in the next few days.
