I'm making this post to tell everyone that I'm currently not satisfied with the state of the update that should have been released today. So I'm considering pausing the patreon payment to give everyone a free month as compensation.

Final edit (1st october): Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. (5th october edit) Currently compiling all the game's version and uploading it! If you see this, the update should be available in one or two hours! Thank you all very much for your patience!

Edit: I've paused the payments as promised! Thought I just realized that pausing payments also prevents new people from joining the patreon so I'll keep it in that state until I publish the new update and then I'll manually do the refund for the rest of you once I've put I put it back on.

(edit) Open letter about the future of the game: Hello, I have to make this edit because, to be honest, I'll have to go and release the update at the end of the free month. I'm disappointed in myself, the update is decent but I couldn't pack in everything I would have liked to pack in. I'm starting to feel like I might not be competent enough as it stands for this project, I kept delaying the update for more than a month and didn't properly organize things with the rework, I'm trying to give it my all but I don't know. There are so many things and ideas that I want to see the light of the day, I want to make a game that's truly good and fun to play and I don't want to disappoint people. So I'm sorry I know it's unprofessional but I'll have to go until the end of the month to shape the update and then you can decide. I'll see how things evolve in the next few updates, for now, I'll only release updates that take a month and a half max like I used to because at least people directly know what they are paying for and it feels more correct.

The update still needs (edited) more time if I want to make sure I can release the full rescue mission with all the interactions and possibilities I envisioned. I could have released it today if I rushed it and cut certain parts of it but I don't want to release something half-baked and pretend like I properly worked. Which is why I'll have to release the update at (edited) the end of the free month to make sure everything is in the update and is polished and fully make use of it.

If you are wondering why this happened, the reason behind it is that when I started working on the update, I focused on finishing the graphic rework I had been working on the last update. Once I reached the point where I reworked almost everything and only needed to remake the facial expressions to finish it I moved on to the actual new content of the update. That's when I realized that this new update could prove to be a bit tight on the time I estimated it'd take at first, (more illustrations than usual needed, more complex ones, more variation needed too, basically a lot needed for it to be good.) I thought I could maybe do it but In the end, I was wrong and I couldn't bring myself to lower the quality of the update just to reach the deadline.

So that's totally my bad for not properly calculating the time needed when announcing a release date, thinking it'd need less time, and for not properly organizing the update, hence why I'm considering offering a free month as compensation.

I'm making this game because I want to make a good exploration game since I feel like there is a lack of those in the adult sphere but I don't want to take undeserved money for that, it's not the goal behind that game. I clearly didn't make the game shine with how I handled this update and I'm very sorry about that. Not only that but messing up like that when the game is starting to get a lot of attention isn't very good so I have nothing to say but tell you that this will be the last time it'll happen for sure.

So I've decided to make a poll to let you all decide what you want with the current situation, to keep it fair to those who'd want the free month I'll still make it happen if at least 30% of you want it, I think that's fair considering the situation. If it's at 30% or more by the 1st September, I'll pause the payments.
