Hey everyone!

Time for the usual poll! The last one was pretty interesting, Ribblings got a lot of votes, which is great to see since we’re heading to the Ribbling village soon. Once we get there, I’ll be doing regular polls to see what you’re most looking forward to, though I already have a ton of ideas I can’t wait to work on! I expected Renglings to get a lot of votes since they’re the main focus of the main quest, which is now getting more attention with the end of the rescue mission. Fairies also got a lot of love, probably thanks to the focus they got during the mission, which is great, because they’ll be quite important going forward; the Flyla x Sorcha x Player dynamic will have quite a few scenes in the future.

Anyway, I could make a whole post talking about all the tribes and what I’ve got planned, but for now let’s talk about today’s poll.

As you know, the game currently has no sound. I’ve been focusing entirely on illustrations and story, slowly making the scenes more and more detailed. Not having to worry about the audio side has made things easier for me, but it’s something I’ll eventually need to take care of. So I want to know how much of a difference sound would make for you all if it were added to the game.

I was waiting until the game had a solid rhythm before diving into sound, just to avoid slowing down development. So even if I start working on it, it’ll take a few updates before it actually makes it into the game. That’s why I want to gauge everyone’s interest now.

Also, for those wanting a quick update on the next update: I’m currently focusing on progressing all the secondary quests and encounters of the game. The release date will depend on whether I decide to advance the main quest this update, if I do, it’ll take the usual amount of time; if I don’t, I can make the update come out faster than usual, so I'll see in due time and come back with a release date in the usual ETA post.
