keito ended up going a bit viral on tiktok with his singing but even more than that a lot of his old coworkers from his old company came out in support and talked very highly of his character so all that and people suspect that some of the kinari (both left their corporate jobs, popular with older voters, cinderella story) voters went to him instead so all that + he was one of the few trainees to have his rank revealed (in 12th at the time) like two days before the final definitely ended up boosting him into the line up in the end!

yes, the finale stages are never live live lol from what i heard in past shows, they'd have pre-recordings with the audience (which is how the transition into the ballad song was so fast)

LOL love how you immediately mentioned koi fish, because their group name was meme-ed so much on twitter for sounding like "koikingu" (pokemon magikarp's japanese name) but it's kinda a cute name, i got used to it now (i laughed at it at first 😭)

they're all indeed very young (18-15 years old, with only keito being 25, siyoung osuke 23, the rest are 22 and below)

there were younger contestants (for example hyunjae), but in the finale, it's all 18+ (kinda crazy how it always ended up like that for male jp series)

rank 12 had too many people i gaf about i was heart broken lol but i'm happy for towa, kiddo is very talented and his language assets (japanese, korean, chinese, english) are much needed for a global group

i finally finished watching your reaction! thank you so much for making it through the whole season!! such an emotional roller coaster, and i cannot wait to see how ko1keyz does in the future. as a personal note, i did say i'd reveal who my 1-pick was. it was hyeonseung 😂 from 3rd ranking announcement, i already gave up about him debuting here, but i still tried my best to vote for him (and was glad to see that he made it to global ranker #11). originally, i started watching because i got bored and wanted some dopamine as a survival show enjoyer/passerby, but i got too emotionally invested into hyeonseung and all of the trainees. my 2 other main picks are yura and kosuke, so i'll keep following ko1keyz to see their journey. if you ever decide to react to season 1 or 2, here's the fan subbed version: https://101jpsubs.weebly.com/
