**NEW/UPCOMING DRAMA INTEREST** (Patreon)

So in less than a month I'll be unlocking DRAMAS of past and present here on Patreon! The goal is to have one older drama and one active drama going at the same time on the weekends. With older works we have a good idea of what to watch but for upcoming series I would love to hear from YOU!! Please leave a comment on what is dropping soon or has just released a couple of episodes so when August hits we are right in the thick of it together!

There’s one kdrama that I am interested in as I read a portion of the comic it is based on: The Remarried Empress It is going to be on Disney+ and releases in October. I haven’t gotten far in the comic yet (I think I was aroun 30 chapters in) but I do find the premise interesting 🤔

Oh my god this is my superbowl. Unfortunately I avoid non romance/happy ending dramas like the plague so I have great taste in romance dramas but not much else lol. Are you starting with kdramas or interested in cdramas too? I have a ton of recs for that lately. Im mostly in my cdrama bag these days bc the kdrama format has changed in a way i dont love in the last few years but I watched my royal nemesis (which i liked) and see you at work tomorrow (airing now). 2024 was prob my last big good kdrama year which for that i would recommend lovely runner and twinkling watermelon off the top of my head but I know you have seen a ton in your own time I'd be surprised if you hadn't seen those

Give me EVERYTHING. Right now I have Love Between Lines as a CDrama being reviewed soon and a couple of kdrama recs already being in the works that you mentioned! So I feel whatever you recommend will be something if I haven’t seen I would be interested! Send it all!

And you aren’t wrong… I’ve seen A LOT and have continued to watch a lot but ever since officially prepping to offer this as an option I’ve intentionally avoided dramas so we can all watch together like a FAMILY 😂😂😂

If you enjoy slice of life and romance I recommend watching hidden love and the first frost, both of them are from the same author of a novel and it's kinda popular. If you want more historical and more on politics I suggest watching Blossom its such a good watch, theres also some xianxia a chinese historical drama that focuses more on martial arts and fantasy,, kinda hard to recommend since theres so manyyyyy. For Kdrama's I think it would be good to watch some from 2016-2017 if you haven't already, like Scarlet Heart Ryo, While You Were Sleeping, W Two Worlds, and DOTS. If you want something plot heavy I recommend Mr. Sunshine, such a good watch. Also Crash Landing on You is also good. Weak Hero is from a Webtoon and they did a good job remaking it, the main character is Park Jihoon from Wanna One and imo its his best work. Another kdrama thats from a webtoon is Moving, such an amazing show and they are filming season 2, the casts are stacked on this one! I watched too many dramas that I forgot some of them. I will probably share more if I find my list.

You have great taste because all except maybe 1 or 2 I have WATCHED... Hidden Love would have to be top 3 C dramas of ALL TIME for me! I may have Celeste watch a couple of these with me since I don't believe she has seen most of these!

there is a kdrama currently airing which is called Dream to you. I don't know anything about it, I just saw that Seventeen Dino has an OST for the drama

I'm glad that you have watched some of them! I prefer historical shows because of the costumes, scenery, and plots. Most used to have over 40 episodes, but new regulations limits them at 36, making them easier for beginners to get into. If you want to check one out, watch the first 5 episodes to see if you like the pace warning tho some good ones really2 starts slow. recs The Best Thing (modern) Moving (kdrama) Love Like The Galaxy (historical) lusi from hidden love is the mc The Long Ballad (historical) The Double (historical) The Untamed (xianxia) yibo is one of the mc When The Camellia Blooms (kdrama) Strong Woman Do BongSoon (kdrama) this is such a cute one lol the president of down bad mls is here Reply 1997 (kdrama) there are multiple reply series but imo this is the best one Reply 1988 (kdrama) Alchemy of Souls s1&2 (korean historical fantasy) Law School Hospital Playlist Jun has a drama called exclusive fairy tail if you're interested! (modern) and so much more! I know this is a lot but just check out the synopsis of the following and start the ones that caught your eye. welcome to the rabbit hole!

idk if someone recommended it, but Imitation or Love Revolution would be fun! Imitation has Ateez and SF9 as main characters, and Love Revolution has Dayoung from WJSN and Younghoon from TBZ as main characters!

Would definitely recommend Teach you a lesson that recently came out. I don’t know how far you’ll be considering as past drama but Under the Queen’s Umbrella is an amazing historical drama that came out a few years ago. It broke my heart and then put it back together again 😭

I am so excited I love Kdramas but I got really into cdrama lately called Coroner's Diary It's a historical drama about a female Coroner and her different cases she works with as she tries to clear her families name

I hope you watch Happiness coz it's such a good drama and I don't see many people react to it. Though I hope these dramas are something you like. I would love to know what kind of genres you like to watch. It's always better to recommend dramas according to the genre a reactor would enjoy than simply reacting to what's being recommeded.
