Love to see that you enjoyed this reaction so much! The one you pointed out that had red hair is Siyun and he indeed was the one you pointed out in the dance practice.

i think a big part as to why they seem so “rookie” here is because they were kinda thrown together last minute when kamden didn’t debut in boysplanet. he gained a lot of popularity and the company had jiho too who was also on the show so they decided to form a group around those two and threw them all together. brian is the last one that was in boysplanet. he was originally a yuehua trainee (he came in with zhang hao and ricky), but left the company and kamden pulled him into fnc to debut with them. i know that kyrell had literally just started training around june/july of 2023 right after he graduated high school, and then they debuted november of that year so he really only trained for 4ish months. mackiah was also a pretty new trainee, so from there they had two who had a shorter much trainee period. to combat their trainee time however, we have seungmo and siyun who trained at other companies before moving to fnc maybe a year before boysplanet. seungmo trained with cravity before they debuted, and siyun probably has the longest trainee period since he was in yg’s treasure box as a contestant. so really i’d say their energy has to do with the fact that 1. they were thrown together sorta last minute, 2. they have members who had such a short trainee period that they’re still filled with whimsy, and 3. they also have lots of members who trained for a very long time and have been eagerly waiting for the moment to finally prove themselves. i’m very happy to see you react to and enjoy them. they have some of my favorite choreos because their staging is always so creative and they really know how to tell a story with it. thank you to whoever recommended them to you!
