the special guest hook had was sooyoung from snsd (a 2nd gen kpop group, one of the most well know kpop groups) & i honestly forgot why they chose her but within the industry she’s known for having really good stage presence and being able to capture an audience!! to be fair i’m pretty sure she was only ever trained as idol dancer so that’s so insight as to why she probably didn’t hit the song as hard as the others 🙏 no hate to her at all she’s actually one of my snsd biases LOL.

Thank you so much for that insight! That makes so much more sense with your clarification! It is much appreciated!

for the Want mega the big point they wanted to make was Idol Dancers are dancers as well. Chaeyeon who is the idol in the crew brought her close dancer friends Yoojung main dancer from WekiMeki (ex-ioi), Yves main dancer from LOONA, and Youngji whos a Rapper actually that just loves to dance. Although Youngji stood out a bit in the center during that part the other two blended in with the professional dancers and i think thats the point WANT wanted to make in support of Chaeyeon (who was obviously getting flack for being an idol dancer) is that just because a dancer took the path to be an Idol doesnt negate the training they went through as a dancer. It is very similar to how people looked down on Lia Kim who took the path to monetize dancing as a choreographer. And yes that was our girl WAACKXXXY!!!!

Kevin

also on swf2 they made a joke how in the Mannequeen mega Lip J got to do everything she didnt get to do in this Prowdmon mega lmao

Thank you so much for this extra level of insight! I love that Chaeyeon had the opportunity to showcase not only herself, but her other friends who may also be in a similar boat to how they are views as dancers. They held their own well here and I really enjoyed it!

The formations on Prowdmon’s mega crew were completely thought out by Monika so was the music composition, lighting, concept and direction. During rehearsal she was BRUTAL whenever someone did something slightly of their mark which is why their formations are clean and it translates so well on camera etc.

i’m back again (my monthly rewatch of your swf reactions LOL) but you mentioned how holybang’s megacrew reminded you of wolflo! and i just realized a few of the members (chocol, haechi, yeni, and halo) were there LOL
