Pale Carnations [Ch4.Up2] Early Access (Patreon)

Hey all, here is the Platinum Member early access release of Ch4Up2.  As of yesterday, we finally hit out goal of 1,000 patrons. When we started, I had absolutely no expectation our work would be well received, let alone find an audience generous enough to support our daily lives. We are extremely fortunate for your interest and support. I hope this update, and all our future ones, will make due on the extraordinary kindness you have shown us.  Contained within:  -2,069 static images   -63 animations  -54,657 words -6 new musical tracks -Significant club content featuring 4 branching scenes depending on who lost week 2’s exhibition. Unlocking one will unlock the other 3 in the scene replay gallery for those who don’t want to go through the pain in the ass of manipulating an entire week’s worth of choices. - Significant Mina content, with branches of varying lengths depending on whether you rejected/she cheated on Ian, as well as your relationship status with Hana.  As I mentioned in our dev diaries, we are proud of this update. All the scenes kick ass, but we think the branching on the punishment game was a misstep. The additional 3 scenes ate up a month and change of dev time, so for anyone who takes the time to experience all 4, let us know if you enjoyed those variations. We’re still going to take a more mindful approach to our pathing in the future, to speed up our dev cycles, but it would be nice to at least know if some people found that time worthwhile.  As always, we love you guys. Instead of simply installing the apk, you will also need to move a second file containing the game's images, animations, music, and sound effects to a specified location. Tentatively speaking, I've been told old saves will still work. The steps that need to be taken are below:  1) There are two files needed for the install: download both palecarnations.v01-release.apk and the archive.rpa. 2) Install the APK and launch Pale Carnations. It will ask for storage permission. Allow it and wait for the ren'py loading screen to finish and then exit the app. Doing this creates a folder called [renpy_saves] in your internal storage, which you will need to move the archive.rpa to. 3) Copy the archive.rpa file in the zip and go to the documents folder in the internal storage of your device. Open the renpy_saves folder. Inside will be a folder labeled [palecarnations.v01].4) Open the folder labeled [game] and paste the archive.rpa file into it.
