Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned the following scoops from AEW WrestleDream tonight. The thread will be updated throughout the night

• Madison Rayne produced the women’s four way top contender match on AEW Dynamite

• So far, we've not heard of Bobby Lashley being at the venue.

• Despite not being booked for a match, Swerve Strickland was always planned to be featured on AEW WrestleDream in some capacity. We’re told the creative direction of that was adjusted throughout the week.

• Willow Nightingale was planned to defeat Dr. Britt Baker DMD on Dynamite this past week. For those that theorized this was a “that doesn’t work for me, sister,” situation, she was legitimately sick, and AEW has been very strict about talent not wrestling with fevers, much less strep throat. 

• We're told a couple of the winners had not been relayed to talent as of last night, but a numerous top winners were decided weeks ago.

• This will be a rare instance where Tony Khan misses a Jaguars game this weekend, the team is playing in London just over 9 hours after the PPV wraps.

• AEW was aware Jimmy Jacobs would not be at this show as of Tuesday of this week. As indicated, they're talking internally about using this as a pivot point creatively.

• Adam Cole is in town for the show. He's been in town for All Out and numerous AEW Dynamite episodes.

• Mark Briscoe told us he wants to have more marquee title matches on ROH TV.

• As indicated tonight, Daniel Garcia is expected to factor into the TNT Title picture

• MJF claimed to people backstage that he had to return to filming Happy Gilmore 2 after this show. 

• At one point Daniel Garcia’s return was considered for WrestleDream, which would have been a triple return.

• Adam Cole is finally cleared for a return.

• Konosuke Takeshita has been planned for the title win for a number of weeks.

• Will Ospreay is not scheduled for this week's Dynamite as he sells his injuries.

• There were definitely some people in the company that pushed for Private Party to win this week.
