Spoilers are ahead -- Please be cognizant of those who do not wish to be spoiled.

Tonight’s NXT will be both the first show after the Halloween Havoc Premium Live event and the last show before NXT’s trip to the ECW arena next Wednesday. With both of those events in mind, an ECW legend is backstage at tonight’s NXT.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned that WWE Hall Of Famer Rob Van Dam is backstage at tonight’s NXT at the WWE Performance Center. Rob has made sporadic appearances in the crowd for WWE at recent events, and is under a WWE legends deal.

NXT’s Je’Von Evans recently called for a match with Rob, and was shown with a photo of RVD behind him on last week’s edition of NXT.

For real, there panties get in a bunch when you make a joke. Yet I’m one of the 600k that watches Dynamite

Why would Tony care? More importantly why do you care if his company succeeds or fails? Do you make or lose any money on it?

Its weird cuz I have no idea why anyone who doesn't make, or lose, money based on either aew or wwe's business could possibly care if H or TK is mad.

I mean, TK always takes shots and goes after WWE, H hasn’t said a word. That’s why TK is stereotyped that way

Ok but tk runs the #2 wrestling company currently. #2 always wants to be #1 and creates ways they think they can get there. There is no gain to be made if you are already #1 in talking about #2.. but let's not pretend H hasn't thrown shots at aew. He doesn't do it frequently but he did call it a "piss ant company" correct? Lol

1 shot to 1000 shots. Completely apples to oranges. H doesn’t act like a spoiled child, and publicly shows it when things don’t go his way. Stop defending a man child and demand better

Punching down is never a good look. HHH knows this and acts accordingly. The little guy will always punch up, even if every punch fails to land. But as soon as the big guy punches down, it makes them look bad and reactionary when they really should just ignore it, which is precisely what HHH does, for the most part.

Here is the beauty of it... I don't defend either company because its just entertainment to me. I'm weird I guess cuz if something on either show doesn't interest me I just skip it. Hate watching and pretending to care is very weird unless you are getting paid to watch or review it.

Tribalism is horrific, especially on social media. I watch both, I just hate the petty BS that TK does in worrying about anything else but his own product. Which is why, many, including myself, joke about him being mad

Do you read ever? RVD is on his 2nd appearance in what 3 weeks not to mention he said his legend deal doesn’t Affect him working in AEW. Why the fuck would TK give a shit

Clearly you can’t read when I said it was a joke. Lighten the hell up.
