News on the Royal Rumble front runner (Patreon)

The Royal Rumble is upon us, and potential spoilers could be en route, so beware.

Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk is currently slated to take place on the WWE Raw on Netflix on January 5, but we would possibly see more out of Bron Breakker. Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that Bron Breakker is the current “white board favorite” to win the Royal Rumble as of now. The “white board” is a reference to the board featuring creative plans as seen on WWE Unreal. Also, as seen on WWE Unreal and in general, things can change as we get closer to the show.

WWE is still in the process of fielding and implementing their plans creatively. However, as of now, WWE sources indicated that Bron Breakker is among the favorites.

Jan 5th match probably won’t be a clean win then right?

Then why give him a title shot a few weeks before Royal Rumble, just to have him then win it and get another shot at Mania. Should keep him away from the champions until rumble is over

I hate the "lose the first match, fight your way back, win the 2nd match" storyline... I feel like its done way too much...

They should put the title on Bron Jan 5th. But they don’t have the balls to do anything surprising or interesting like that anymore. But yet every week “is a new era and will be epic”.
