hi Sean, I asked a few years back and I don't think you really knew then but have you heard anything about why the LOD/Road Warriors seem to have been memory holed by WWE? for example, they haven't been in a WWE video game since WWE '13 which strikes me as insane considering how widely regarded and beloved they still are by older fans
They haven't had a Legends contract for quite some time. I believe the families are of the belief that they can make more money by individually licensing the Road Warriors for merchandise, toys, and games on their own. They've done stuff with Ringside Collectibles, Major Toys, RetroMania, and Pro Wrestling Tees.
Do you see Charlie signing with aew after her eve debut ?
I don't think she will imminently, but I think she eventually goes to AEW. I'd heard for months that she was thinking about doing stuff in Japan, even dating back to last summer. I'm not sure why that didn't end up happening. But there were a lot of people in the industry excited for her and that would push for her in AEW.
Apologies if this was discussed previously, but months ago there was a story on about Renee Paquette’s contract being close to lapsing. Her continued presence seems to imply she’s in for the long haul. Was a resigning ever confirmed?
I actually asked directly, but didn't hear back. Renee is revered there, and really everywhere. It's only a hunch, but I would imagine she has re-signed. When she originally got signed by AEW, the regime of WWE at the time really wanted the news spoiled, and it seemed like sour grapes over she and Moxley signing new deals with AEW.
