A number of indie talent are signed to WWE ID deals

WWE held EVOLVE tapings this past week, and a number of WWE ID talent were revealed.

Fightful Select can confirm a number of them, including an NXT veteran.

Notorious Mimi, who used her old Sloane Jacobs name on the tapings, was confirmed. She beat Shazza McKenzie very easily at a WrestleMania weekend 2024 show. No surprise there! She also appeared on the Apple TV Monster Factory show.

Valentina Rossi was confirmed, with her using the name Gianna Capri. Rossi worked in AEW fairly regularly as an enhancement talent between June 2021 and March 2023. She worked over a dozen matches as both Rossi and Mafiosa. She also appeared on the March 1 episode of ROH on HonorClub.

Fallyn Gray has also been signed to a WWE ID deal, and will be using the Veronica Haven name.

In addition, Airica Demia has signed with WWE ID, and will be using the Anya Rune name, as BodySlam+ reported. Demia is a second generation wrestler who has already competed for the WWE ID Women's Title twice. She's also appeared on NWA and ROH TV.

All of these talent appeared during the February WWE tryouts.

Sloane was previously signed to a NXT contract. She was released but was one of those told “go get more experience and we will re evaluate in a few years”

Airica Demia is a cool name actually. But I understand, TM.

Valentina Rossi also appeared in a mixed trios match on this past week's ROH episode.

Imagine the meetings Airica will have with Shawn Michaels explaining who Deku from My Hero Academia is.

They’re making WWE ID people use copyrighted names now? Didn’t the previous ones get to use their names they use on the indies?
