Whatever happened with Cathy Kelley Wrestling, and is she doing any outside projects?

It had been reported last year that Cathy Kelley had begun doing in-ring training for a potential expanded on-screen future. Those that we spoke to did confirm that she’s done some training at the WWE Performance Center. The context was that she took the initiative herself to train, and was more for the possibility of her appearing in that expanded on screen-role, as opposed to specifically as a wrestler.

We never heard of any specific creative plans for her in WWE from a wrestling capacity.

In addition to her making moves in that regard, I’m told that there were meetings last year regarding Cathy Kelley’s future outside of WWE. Not in the sense that she’s leaving WWE, but that there may be additional television and film opportunities in that regard for her.
