When was Rey Mysterio cleared for mania? With rumors saying he was gonna face Gunther before injury when did that plan change?
The working plan was Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker, and Gunther vs. Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was injured in or right after the Rumble it appears. They didn't really have an idea of what to do with Gunther after the Dragon Lee unmasking and had him off television for a while. There were some claiming that the plan for Gunther and Seth Rollins extended back to Elimination Chamber, which tracks.
What percent of TNA wrestlers are on a pay-per-appearance deal vs being signed with the company?
The people on pay per appearance deals are still signed. Quite frankly, I don't think anyone should be signing a per appearance deal in pro wrestling unless there's a minimum guarantee associated with it. There is on a number of deals, but not all of them. The Hardy Boys, Moose, and a few others are on full-time, salaried deals. Moose signed a long term deal right before they started moving away from those.
Many years ago, Danhausen said in an interview that he had trademarked his Facepaint look, do you know if he still holds that copyright or if WWE now does?
When you sign with WWE, you sign over a lot of those things. If you own them prior, they almost always go back to you. So Danhausen will get it back in the event that he ever leaves WWE. There are some surprising things that they end up having to sign over that you wouldn't normally expect.
