Brock Lesnar appeared to retire at this past weekend's WWE WrestleMania 42.

WrestleVotes Radio reports that there is a strong belief that he was genuinely saying goodbye when he left his gloves and boots in the ring at the Sunday edition of the show. However, there are some that believe that he will have one more match at Summerslam, with the natural speculation occurring because he's got roots there.

At least one contact in WWE was hoping he'd be on the card, but say it isn't a definite.

wouldnt you like to know

seems obvious that gunther will call in his favor with Heyman to bring brock out of retirement and face him at Summerslam

Hunter and Brock were never big buddies. Brock was a Vince boy and almost never left after Vince did. We all remember how he left the show and Stephanie had to get him back. I wouldn't put it past him doing exactly what he wanted to do without telling Hunter. It looked like everyone didn't know. I can see Brock not wanting a 39-year-old Gunther to retire him. Brock is old school. He probably wanted a new wrestler that has big expectations to get the rub off him which he did for Oba.

Either you let Oba have his moment and keep it that way, or you possibly give a fake moment to Gunther just to have an Oba vs Gunther feud later? Idk. They don't have to be connected. I would prefer that Brock stay retired and Oba keeps his moment.

Elle

Yes. I can totally see Brock no selling Gunther

Ant

They gotta give Bron Breakker something that Gunther could want. Let the Heyman favor play out that’s way. Maybe with the MITB

One day Sean might explain his new vague statement call to "aggregators" to "wait a responsible amount of time" before aggregating.
